Some pics of catching Aussie Buffalo, these pics were taken in the Northern Territory on one of the stations I worked.Taken in the 70s

We caught 20 young Buffalo for an international zoo.

Young Buffalo were good eating, butchered the same as cattle, the steaks were a little stronger flavoured than cow beef, but very good just the same.

Ian....seems to me you had some really neat adventures in The Land Down Under.....thanks for posting the cool picts!:D
 
Thanks, I have some good memories of those day’s. And a few pictures. I used to own a good 35 mm camera then. I only took colour slides and over the years any of the brands other than Kodak have either turned blue or a red colour. Shame really, if I had known at the time I would have stuck to Kodak film only. I have them on a CD now, so shouldn’t loose any more. One of the good things about technology.
