Okay - This is way different for me. Just wanted to give this a shot to see what it turned out like. Might be a good utility knife?? Chisel ground 3/16" 0-1 and natural Micarta. Sort of weird Sharpening it though :)

Picture isnt that great -

I like it. I think it's cool how you contrasted the black finish with the extremely crisp grind. I also think it's a really nice touch how the grind at the tip isn't as steep as it is at the yokote. The canvas micarta and the black finish make it look deceptively rustic, despite the high tech handle material.

I like it, and I also think it has carving possibilities.

What'd really be cool, though, is a second one that didn't have the front edge belly or tip but was just full thickness and flat on front, that you could then attach a suction cup to, stick the whole thing to your chest, and lie down in the middle of a room waiting for somebody to arrive! :D

Looks great. Sort of like kiridashi on the end bevel. I have two that I use everyday in my shop. I mainly use mine to cut out leather sheath patters precisely and Quickly. I don't get a lot of orders for chisel grinds but they are very useful none the less. I like your profile I bet it's comfortable.

Sweet Knife. I prefer the chisel grind for many applications from utility to kitchen use. It does take a little bit to get used to it for everyday use though. Good job.

I could have used that today. I'm writing off old equipment for disposal at the surplus outlet, and I have to scrape all the asset tags and gov't property stickers off. A tool like that would have made the job very easy, I think.
