Source for fireblanket, Kaowool?

I'm looking at making a rather inexpensive and small forge like the one at http://members.nbci.com/zman59/miniforge.htm

I need to find a source to order some of the lining material shown. Do any of you know where to order some of this and how much this stuff costs? I've looked locally in the yellow pages and called some local pottery/ceramic stores and looked under refractory and cannot find anyone who carries this stuff.

What would you lay the blade on during heating? I don't see any support in there. Looks do-able to me, I'm interested too.

YOU MIGHT TRY A INSULATION CONTRACTOR OR A INSULATION SUPPLIER . THAT IS A THERMAL INSULATION USED ON BOILERS.
