This knife is forged from 1095, 9.5" blade, 2.375" max width, .310" at the spine, 416ss guard, quilted maple handle, 14.75" OAL.

The blade is lightly blasted...who says forged blades have to be satin finished :) :p?

Really like this bowie Matt! Us forged loving collectors don't like them shiney knives;):D

These Bowies you're doing look great, Matt. Big rascals, but the lines make them look fast. Love those shaped handles, and the quilted maple is unique.

Great looking Bowie. Your knives always look very durable and functional.:thumbup:

Matt that's beautiful and beastly! You really should have paired it with the integral skinner you posted recently --- that's a woods/hunting match made in heaven

How does the blasted surface handle corrosion? How is it to keep clean?
Hope you don't mind my asking:)
