Where can you get Boas these days - custom or Mid-Tech? Is a show or private sale my only option? What kind of cash am I looking at? $400? I noticed dealers who get Onions in either sell 'em immediately, or auction them off. Any dealers who regularly get Ken's stuff?

Any info is appreciated. Ken's work is harder to track down than Steve Ryan's!!
 
A mid tech from Ken would be $450-$500 and a custom directly from him would be $550-$625. But to get one from Ken you'd have to go to a show and fight the crowds. At BAKCA in 2 weeks he'll have less than 15 knives.

On the secondary you're probably looking at $850 for a midtech and up to $1200 or more for a custom.

Basically, the mid tech is a custom but Ken has the parts CNC'd for that one. Saves him a little bit of time in the making of the knife so he charges a little less accordingly.

go to a show and THEN hope you are lucky.....there is a big crowd waiting like vultures!!!
