Today, I received a replacement Spec-Ops "T.H.E. Wallet" (I busted one of the zippers on my other one), and I have to say that this thing is HUGE!! It holds EVERYTHING, including "the kitchen sink" (and a Passport!), but it still fits in the back-pocket of my Levi 550 jeans...Just barely, but it fits. (Now I can empty-out my file cabinet, and carry the contents of it with me!.:D.).

...Anyone else have one of these monster wallets?

Dexter,

Here's a picture:

Note that this picture doesn't really give you an idea of its' size, but if you think along the lines of a black Cordura briefcase without handles, you'll get the picture...LOL!!.:D.

BTW...I MUST have BIG back pockets, 'cause it DOES fit.:).

....Without having handled them i would think this wallet is too big for me personally, but the closure method looks cool.

As you might be able to make-out in the (above post) picture of the OD green one, the closure really isn't anything "special", as the top flap simply folds under a "pocket". However, it is pretty secure, quiet to open, and won't wear-out like Velcro can.

It's very large. Very large. But, it does it's job and if you are one of those who carries far too much in the wallet, it's pretty good. The black ones go very fast - KC at SpecOps told me they were backordered 3500 pieces just from AAFES alone...

I like the clear ID window, works well for the driver's liscense check when paying by CC.

I'll try to take a picture of one in the pocket tomorrow if I have a few.

Looks awesome!!! I need a good replacement for my old wallet!

Is that link the only place to buy them?

Any excuse to post a picture of your butt, huh?:D

You know you love to look at it though, Frank. :)

I had fun recently with this wallet watching the "security" people at the airport trying to open the thing. One gave up and the other one I felt sorry for, and gave him a hand.

Gary,

Long-time, no see! (At least since the NWKC knife show in Tacoma...BTW, they have moved to the Fairgrounds in Puyallup now.).:).

That "security" person must have been an idiot not to be able to figure-out just to pull down on that tab to pull the flap out of its' "pocket"...And to think that this guy is there to "guard us" against the "bad guys"....

Mine arrived yesterday.

It rocks [or to be more English, it's really rather nice].

It is big, but since it belt carries - it'll do my work ID too.

You can carry the pen AND the box it came in, in this wallet.:D.

What's with the "back pocket" emphasis? Are back pockets bigger than front pockets? Is this wallet just too big for side/front pocket carry? Side/front pocket carry is my norm for a wallet. I think putting your wallet in a back pocket is just asking for it, but that's another issue...

Nope.

It's big... but still fits in the jeans... just.
