Just a question from the group W bench.

I've been looking for the perfect Spyderco to buy my wife. She's not interested in anything that looks too menacing, is too heavy, etc. (OK, OK, so she's not converted yet. I'm working on it.) Then, lo and behold, I'm waiting for her to finish shopping and I'm checking out the latest copy of Blade, and my eyes fall upon a pink Delica with a plain blade. Perfect! Lightweight, plain blade, non-black color Spyderco. She'd love me for this. What's the story on this knife?

Is that thing shar...OW!

OOHH! OOHH! OOHH!

I need one also, please. My girlfriend has a lot of trouble opening my Ascent because it's too large for her hand, plus frankly the edge is not up to my standards (excellent knife otherwise) and I've heard Spydie edges shave out of the box. To be honest, I don't want her to sharpen it! But I also don't want her to have to put a lot of effort into cutting, defense or otherwise.

I guess it's not too late to order her a carbon fiber Dragonfly from the BladeForums Store. Get 'em while they're hot! They aren't bright pink (who's complaining!), but you get the "op-art" shifting checkerboard effect. Nifty. I'm betting $49.95 that my wife will like it better than her Cricket. If she doesn't, Oh well, I guess I'll just have to keep it for myself.

And to think it was supposed to be her birthday present
