I`m thinking of bringing back the Nessmuk for a one time limited run. These will only be available in desert ironwood, which I can now get in limited supply, and 1/8" brass pins. The specs are as follows : 4 1/4" blade, 8 1/2" oal, 1 1/2" tall at the "hump" of 1/8" O1 If interested in this, please email me. Delivery would start in late September, and cost would be $160.00.

This is my Nessmuk model, but not in ironwood.

I'd be all over this one if I didn't have my own version in the works. ;)

Just thought I would do one more run of these, but I guess not. Must have had the right idea discontinueing this model last year.

This has always been my favorite. I intend to talk you into making me one when the time is right.

What about a special run of pocket scandis? It appears from reading past threads that it is a well liked knife that not a lot of people have. Just a thought.

I picked up one second hand and it is fabulous. Another suggestion might be the EDC or riverwoods.

I believe that there are only 3 or 4 of those out there. The people who do have them, love them. I would love to do a run of those, or as Rockywolf said, the Riverwoods Companion.

Good Morning and Happy Fourth of July! My favorite holiday! What kind of price are you thinking for a Pocket Scandi with the the Desert Iron wood handles? Am I correct that the pocket Scandi is similar in size to the EWOK? Last but not least, for a sheath, would you go with the clip version like you did on the originals? I think the clip sheath or a neck style sheath would be very handy, but again if someone with more expereince has a different view on sheaths, let me know. WOW do I just need to stop looking at John's knives! I might end up sleeping in a tent in the yard... OK that's not really that bad, I love to sleep in the tent!

This is from the original post.

Here`s the Pocket Scandi I mentioned earlier this week. It`s 6 1/4" overall, with a 2 3/4" blade of 1/8" O1. These will go for $120.00 with leather pocket sheath with spring clip. If interested, please email me.

Satin finish adds $5, and ironwood adds $25.

Do you want it in September, or later? Send me an email with all the details.

Hey John, happy fourth again! September works for me, thanks for giving me the option to delay! It's weird, but I can't generate an e-mail from my work e-mail from home, but I can reply. I will E-mail you on Tuesday to hammer home any loose details.
Take care
Dan

OK, I spent a lot of time over the week end cutting, carving, etc and my Hiker and Kepheart did well, but I realized what I was wanting occasionally, was a larger knife for certain tasks! Well, Lucky me, I happen to know an amazing knife maker, so here I am again. John was patient enough to speak with me this moring and it has been decided, no pocket scandi at this time, but I have ordered a Camp Knife, with desert iron wood handles, and an 8" , 3/16 blade. Should look great, and cut about anything it gets near, which will be a lot with an 8' blade! Thanks again John!
