Spey and Sheepsfoot blade?

I was looking at german knives and came up on a spey and sheepsfoot blade? Are they as good as stainless steel? Are they stainless and rustfree?

also all steel will rust.. stain-less steel stains less. there is carbon in it if it is a steel and it will rust if not mantined. i belive the amout is about 12% cromeium define's it as a stainless steel.
