Guys, I went to Spyderco website today. I saw there is a change there. SPIN is listed as the new knife.

I tried to look around the online store to see if anyone having this knife. However, I still cannot find anyone holding this knife yet.

If you guys have this knife, pleaaase, give us a review of the knife. Pictures will be greatly appreciated.
:D

Looks nice...might get on my list.

To be fair, on the Spyderco website the Spin is listed as being "out of stock" so my guess is that it was added and will be shipping soon but has not yet.

I have it on good authority that the Spin is "out there" ;)
Regards, Mike

Kristi mentioned a few days ago the spin was being shipped. It should be available through the normal outlets soon.

It's in stock at savesonswordsandknives.

Just placed my order. They are a good store.

It's extremely small. The Cricket looks and feels a good bit larger. The super thin, flat ground blade cuts like a demon, though.

I posted this on the Spyderco website, but thought it may be of interest here as well.

Just a few comparison pics of the Spin next to a Cricket. The Spin is very well put together, very tight and well-finished. But it is really small. Blade stock appears to be the same thickness as the Cricket, but it has a full flat grind and also tapers from pivot to tip. Super thin, super sharp, it is the consumate pocket scalpel.

OK, I get the knife now. It is basically a Cricket in a different shape.

Pretty close, but the Spin makes the Cricket look absolutely beefy by comparison. I've seen some people refer to the Spin as one of Spyderco's "little big knife" line, but it's really more of a "little knife" to my eye.

I want one now! I'd better handle one first though.
