I'll tell you what I'll be using it for at work then 3 days from now I'll tell you how it worked out. Alot of the products I pick are wrapped in shrinkwrap, and I have to cut it to get to the products. Also, with some of the skids there is this rather tough cord type of thing that has to be cut to get to the products. (This Navigator is plain edge, and those cords are the one thing I'm worried it won't work well with because I pretty much need a partially serrated edge to get through it unless I just hack it) I will also be using it to cut peices of a huge piece of cardbourd to cover bannanas. And lastly, I sometimes need to cut a cornerpeice made of cardboard that sticks up and jepordizes the stability of the skid which can be a PITA. Everything I do is timed so I need a knife that will get it's job done and do it quickly, judging by the other spyderco I have it will, but I'll test it out for 3 days and tell ya how things went.

Spyderco Almite Navigator:
First, I really really liked that lil knife and plan to get one of my own sometime soon. [Since I wrote this I have purchased one]
It is very small, but still big enough to fit the hand and do it's job. I loved the shape of the handle, fit my hand very nicely and made using it very comfortable. The blade shape was good and the edge was nicely sharp. It cut through everything I needed it to with the greatest of ease. Except that chord thing, but no plain edge would cut through that easily. Overall the Navigator is a very handy little knife. It was a pleasure to use and did it's job quickly, and easily. It also cuts cucumbers like nobody's business.

There was only one thing I did not like about the knife, and that was the direction the clip was facing. I would much prefer that it be facing the other way, but it seemed that from the shape of the handle it couldn't be turned around. No big deal as it was small enough that I could just put it into my pocket without it bothering me... But still, I didn't like that if it even matters. But other than that I give the Spyderco Navigator an "A" for what I used it for.

Now for the Rescue 93MM:
It was a little big for what I used it for, but no biggy as I think there is also a Rescue 45MM (I think that's the size not sure). Anyway, the Rescue is very hand & very useful I think. Everything I used it for worked out very well. It felt good in my hand and was also very easy to use (duh). IMO the absolute best thing about the Rescue is that I didn't need to worry about puncturing the boxes when cutting the shrinkwrap etc. which isn't really a big problem anyway, but one less thing to worry about as it doesn't have a stabby tip. Depending on the use, it's a good knife IMHO.
