Spyderco Forum Knife from other forum

We had a little Spyderco forum knife run in the german speaking messerforum.net . One of our members managed to buy the knifes and have them engraved/coated. It was limited to 25 pieces and, as You perhaps will know, was gone in hours ;)
I like the gold colored and engraved clip the most.

How do You like it ?

They are very nice! One in 25, thats pretty cool. Those clips are amazing, especially since they are one of a kind. (i believe I read somewhere that the guy who did it changed it a little each clip).
 
Very nice work! Especially like the gold clip and barrel bolt, they would make a great after-market item, even without the web.

Knife is a factory waved version of the Endura. Spyderco licensed the wave feature from Ernie Emerson and created the waved Endura to satisfy a request by folks on the Self Defense Forum for waved Spyderco. It is distributed exclusively through SDF. They market them both on their website and on eBay.

The folks at messerforum apparently bought a quantity of them and modified them to create their forum knife. They added the forum-specific engraving on the blade, and had the normally bead blasted clips and barrel bolts colored and engraved.
 
I've heard that Spyderco plans to offer a regular production version of this knife. Anybody know anything about the timing?
