Spydercos at Janesville ?

As I recall, BM & CRKT seemed to be more heavily represented than Spyderco last year. Which is unfortunate; I really want to drool and paw over the Lum Chinese folder! I do remember someone at a small table who had some interesting customized Spydies--fancy engraved handles.

Represented by dealers, but not by the manufacturers. Most of the industry, including Blade Magazine, with home offices in Iola, WI, shuns Badger as a minor-league "club show". C'mon Sal - we'd love to have a midwest appearance by you and the travelling Spyder show!

Badger is in a transitional state right now, much too big for it's current building, but the club wants to keep the club atmosphere and low cost rather than moving to someplace bigger, like Madison.

It's really too bad that they're dragging their feet on expansion, because with it's spot on the calendar (4 months before Blade, 4 months after Blade West), geographic location, and the show's momentum, it would take very little tweaking to turn it into a "Blade Show Midwest".

Make sure you stop by Bob Schrap's booth and let him know your thoughts!

BTW Summer - I'll be glad to let you play with my Lum!
