Thanks for looking,

Beautiful work here. The cocobolo is particularly well polished. Nice work on the clip too.

Another fine piece. Each one looks better than the last.

I cannot even tell where the cocobolo ends and the bolster begins-invisible joint. Great lines on your SR1's.

Neetones, Yes I will share my polishing technique. It' called cyanoacrylate (super glue). Take everything to a very fine finish i.e 2000grit+ then coat with super glue. Finish the superglue to the same grit or finer then buff with the white non- cutting mirror finish compound, it is the HF1 at Pop's knife supply. When you buff, apply NO pressure, let the loose fibers of the buffing wheel lick the surface. Keep them loaded with compound every few seconds. It is amazing the kind of finish this stuff takes. Hopefully the person who owns this knife will respond here and let you all hear his thoughts on the knife. As good as the pictures are, they don't do the finish full justice.

EDITED to add: The cyanoacrylate only works on the wood. However the same finishing steps were used on the Ti minus the cyanoacrylate. Remember, polishing without orange peel requires a fairly fine surface finish before buffing on most materials.

Thanks again,
Lee

Do you make this model in a smaller size? Website? I'd be interested in knowing more about your flippers.

Phillip :)

Very interesting knife that looks exceptionally well finished. The problem I usually have with flippers is that the flipper usually protrudes below the body of the knife when open, and detracts from the look (while definitely serving a purpose in a tactical sense). Your design just looks so much more streamlined and again, the finish is brilliant.

I can't believe I missed this one the first time through. It is absolutely magnificent. I love your idea for a flipper. Elegant
