Hi everyone!
I just got hit with a $900.00 body shop bill and I'm also trying to fund a trip to the Blade Show in Atlanta at the end of May so I'm selling a few of my khukuris!!!! Shipping is not included but will only charge the actuall shipping cost.
1) 12 inch chiruwa Ang Khola with horn handle with no cracks. One of the best tooled scabbords I have seen. Frog is also very thick and heavy leather. Entire rig is brand new and has Kesar's old half sun mark. File says edge is close to 60rc and the blade is just over 1/4 thick and just over 1 1/2 inches wide. $100.00
2) 15 1/2 inch steel mounted villager. almost 2 inches wide and 3/8 thick. overall finish is rough and blade has a few cracks in it. Handle is wood and has a crack on the left side. I have put toung oil on the handle and I wasn't paying attention and some dried on the steel fittings. I have beaten this one up and it did not break, the edge rolled in a small spot on the belly but I reground it and I beat on it and it didn't roll at all. Scabbord is well done and fits the khuk well but brass chap is loose...super glue fix. $50.00
3) 16 inch Chiruwa Ang Khola with horn handles. 1/2 inch thick, not marked but I would guess Sher because this one is BULT!!! Small cracks at the cho like most khuks come with. I used this one once so it has a few scratches but is almost new and I have it razor sharp!
Almost 2 1/4 inches wide. Scabbord is plain but very well done and has brass eyelits where the frog is sewn together. $125.00
4) 13 1/2 inch villager that is a little under 1/2 inch thick and 2 inches wide. Wood handle has 2 good size cracks and I have not used this one so I can't say how solid the handle is. It might fail but would make a great project knife. The blade is hardned very well and is the hardest villager I own. It has a few file scraches from testing it's hardness though. And the blade is a little crooked. Very ugly little fellow!!
Scabbord is also plain but well done! SOLD!!!!
5) JKM-1 unused with a nice tan sheath marked H.I. and KNN.SOLD!!!!
6) 19 inch Gelbu special a full 1/2 inch thick and 1 7/8 wide. Has a crack in the horn handle and the blade has no kami mark. Never used and the sheath is kind of tight. It comes with a custom Terry Sisco camoflage(sp?) cover over it! This is a nice one and the handle nice and big! This is burly for a GS and will make a good chopper and still light enough to be fast for this size of knife! SOLD!!!!
Thank you for looking!
I can not waranty these knives It is up to Uncle Bill if the H.I. waranty stays with the knife. Email me if you are interested in a khukuri! Thank again!
