St Patrick's Hang - Pic heavy

I'm quite fortunate to have friends that share multiple common interests with me like JV3

Here's a glimpse into one of them, backpacking and our last trip.

I show up into camp and I'm handed a BK62, pay me when you can is what I'm told.

My son's set up, the boy likes orange what can I say? You can even see him in the orange fleece back there processing firewood

Hanging over a rock wall because I don't need flat ground ;-)

Nobody likes smoke in their face... orange theme continues with the orange handled BK14

It was so good

Got down to 18F which caught us a little by surprise, a little woobie love solved that issue while I waited for my blueberry tea and everyone else to get up

I need more time with it to see what I can do with it, every time I went to do anything with wood I was grabbing the 9, the times I did remember it's nice and slicey. Cut meat easily, made a feather stick and batoning was fine. We'll see next trip

trailbum wait till you see the boy, he's as tall as I am now! He'll probably pass me. I also don't know how he hikes with all that crap on, I'm sweaty with a base layer and fleece at 25F and he's still dressed like he's in camp
