For all you Science Fiction fans. You can check out the new trailer for Star Wars Episode III at StarWars.com. Once you're on the homepage, scroll to the bottom right. It looks pretty cool.

this does in fact look good. I am playing Boba Fett in it.  :D

What do you mean you are "playing" Boba Fett in it? I thought you were serious about this. :grumpy:

You know, he could be telling the truth,
but we'd never believe him because it's the internet.
.........Oh, well......

Saw the trailer in front of The Incredibles tonight, looks like it's gonna rock. If GL doesn't screw it up like he did Clones.....

Revenge of the Sith is the last of a series of six Star Wars movies - double trilogy. I am hoping to collect all six eventually in DVD format!! :)

They are going to make 3 more after this now according to a interview with GL a week or so ago. The next three will be after the Return of the Jedi timeline. I'm betting Princess Leigh won't look so hot in that bikini now......

Yeah, she looks a little rough these days. Heck, they all do.

I just watched Return of the Jedi last night with my kids. She sure did look hot, though! I had to resist the urge to pause, and rewind, just to see her again. I'm hoping they put Natalie Portman in something similar in the next one. I can dream, can't I? :D

I remember seeing it in the summer of 1977, what a life changing day. I was in love with Leia from that day until I reached 12 or so and some chick in first year (Brit system) blew my mind.

GL killed a lot of interest for me with JarJar but the effects are great and worth a watch anyway.

Alot of folks felt the same way with the Ewoks back in 83. We tend to forget that these films are also made to appeal to a younger audience and while we Generation X'ers were captivated by the magic of Star Wars back in 77, 80 and 83, I'm sure that our "Baby Boomer" parents just didn't get it. Now that we're adults, characters like Jar Jar Binks will never appeal to our tastes. On the other end, it's characters like Jar Jar that help young kids of today get into the whole Star Wars thing. It's entertainment afterall. ;)

Sure they did. My dad and his friends saw "Star Wars" several times.
The first two movies were reasonable fare for grownups; it's been downhill ever since.

I think the Star Wars movies have evolved into 90-minute advertisements for the sole purpose of selling action figures and supporting strategic alliances with fast food franchises. I'll bet anyone a Big Mac that Mickie D's (or maybe it'll be Booger King) will be handing out mini 'Sith' action figures in conjunction with the release.
