Steel billet for hatchet

Although there are plenty of places to buy blade steel I am having trouble locating a source of steel to forge for axes. Something like 1 1/4 x 3" x 6" maybe. Any suggestions as to sources? Recomendations as to type of steel? Thanks in advance!
 
Admiral Steel may have what you are looking for but as far as customer service I could not recomend them. But you never know, if you make sure everyone is on the same page and get some names etc you would probably be ok. Their site says the customer always comes first, dont believe it.
