Gentlemen:

I just finished this CPM-154 Loveless inspired drop point for a patient client and thought I'd post it for comment. It has a hybrid finish with mirror hollow grinds/guard face - 800 grit satin flats/furniture. It differs from the original in quite a few ways: Less belly in the blade, thumb serrations, wider blade and handle, .200" thick at the ricasso. It's quite a handful. Your comments are welcome. :)

V/R,

TK

.200" CPM-154 stock
4" Hollow ground blade
8 1/2" OAL
Pinned/soldered guard
Premium Sambar Stag scales
Tapered tang/red liners
Thumb serrations on spine
416 stainless furniture
Mirror blade/guard face
800 grit satin flats/furniture

Very well done and exceptionally nice stag.
Not exactly to the Loveless pattern but then it certainly doesn't have to be.:thumbup:

Thanks to all for viewing my work and commenting - I had to pry this one from my son's hands to mail it though!! :D

I really like your variation to the standard loveless drop point. Just a little drop in the edge after the ricasso to make a wider blade and almost a spear-point profile. Looks great and like it would have very high utility.

I'd almost hate to use something that pretty. Almost...

Elegant hunter, lovely stag.
Liking the dropped edge also.
Very nice work.
