As he is not answering his phone and does not have the capability of taking a message. Only one member of BF has the super secret cell phone number and is not willing to help those who support him. His web site is down, which means his email is probably also down. So you are left with the option of having the postal inspectors to go knocking on his door.

We have seen at least two members on this forum who have "issues" with Steve. Im sure if the Postal Inspectors get a couple of complaints they will be more than happy to start an investigation.

Note, please don't involve the individual in the photo. Your already working on one loser, you don't need a second one trying to help. :D

You asked for people to state their case, they did. You then did everything you could to back out of helping them.

BTW the TROLL remark is pretty funny. This is from a guy who from the start has never held people reliable for posting a real name or real email address.

Im one of the few who from the very beginning who's member name is the same as my real name. In addition my email and web site are in my profile.

You should help people who support you.

You should list Steve's Cell Phone number.

Up until your previous post you held that it was not your job to act as a go between. You even said perhaps this is something I should do.

So I took you at your word. I posted Steve's Address, Phone number (which no one answers nor does it have an answering maching), his web site addy which does not work.

On top of that I posted how to contact the US Postal Inspectors.

I think what really bothers you is that you know you screwed up.

You flaunted the fact that you received knives when others who had been waiting longer had not.

You made a comment about those who complained about Steve were part of the "Peaunt Gallery" doing nothing but piling on. Piling on to who, a guy with a verifiable history of lying and not delivering knives on time?

You stated it was not your job to help these people who posted in GB&U, with verifiable information that you asked for.

To top it all off, you have now once again abused you power to write a lie underneath my name.

But then again, you have always been a chicken **** that way.
 
Les, if you are going to lie, at least lie consistently. I do have his cell number (as I stated before), and I at no time said I would not help people. My words were that I had not been contacted for help by either Steve or Phil@2theHilt.

Steve has contacted me offline (not that it's your business anyhow) and I've agreed to help him however I can. In other news, maybe you should think first, and post later.

Since you don't mind taking shots at me, however, especially when you don't know the facts, I'm sure you won't mind being labeled as a troll. Remember this next time you decide to lie about someone's character.
 
Followup - Steve C called me back today and said he'd look into Sdesarno's knife and see what happened. He can be reached at the above number. With regards to other outstanding orders, he's still working on them, but had been in communication with the other dealers in question and AFAIK had worked things out with them.

I just looked behind my name, and neither "white pages" nor "arbiter" nor "Internet Police" appear there. Despite your whining, it isn't my job. I'll help people who ask for my help, or if it's something I'm already doing, but it is not my job to be the hero for everyone on the forums.

I said I hadn't been contacted for support, and it wasn't my job to be the go between for every member who has a problem with someone else. You chose to lie about the situation, so that makes you a liar. Those are the facts, live with them.

See above. I am not the white pages. Personal cell phones are personal. I'm not in the business of violating the privacy of others without their permission. If you choose to release your own information so that you can be called at all hours, that is your option. You do not have the right to release private information.

Ahh, poor LT Les, always complaining about how he's abused, or treated unfairly, or passed over. Guess what? You agreed to our rules & conditions when you joined up. You don't like your custom title? Maybe you shouldn't have earned it. No one asked you to lie about me or question my character - but you chose on your own to do so. Enjoy the consequences of your actions.

And just think (I know it's hard for you): had you just confined your post to the information about Corkum, instead of taking shots about me, you wouldn't have been banned. Instead, you chose to be a troll, so sad. You've shown such poor judgment overall anyhow.

Had you thought, you would have checked to see if Steve Desarno or Phil had contacted me for help. Had you thought, you would have seen that I did help DC @888knivesRus. Had you thought, you would have seen I'd discussed TAD's situation with Steve and found out the real deal. Had you thought, you would have read the warnings. Had you thought, you would have used reading comprehension, instead of trying desperately (and laughably) to smear my name over something I'm only tangentally involved with.

Instead, you shot your "mouth" off and showed poor judgement, lack of restraint, and incredibly shallow character by attacking the one person who's in contact with Steve, and has the ability to make this information extremely prominent. Good job there Les. BTW, I understand why you have a hard-on for Corkum now - he told me about your show encounter & your behavior remains consistent.

Les is a troll, and when called on it, decided to act like a child. John Goncz is still around because he's more than dug his own grave - all he's doing is further reinforcing what kind of person he is.

Do not confuse the issues. "Just because so and so did it" is not a valid excuse.

Taking pot shots at me is not something I encourage and I don't tolerate it - especially from repeat offenders. End of discussion. If you have further issues with how I handled Les, bring them up in the Service & Support forum. I'd suggest you reread his last few posts if you need specifics on why he was banned.

For the record, here is my own experience with corkum:

i liked the knife he featured in his Blade magazine ad in 2000.
i cant recall the name of the knife, it was a tanto with a wood handle.

we talked on the phone, he said he had one almost done, and would deliver in 2 weeks.
i paid in full with credit card, $385, 2-29-2000.

the following years were filled with the same excuses that have been documented elsewhere.
my last contact was a phone call from him about 6 months ago.

here is a copy of my bill. the month wasn't a total loss, i got 2 speedtechs and some grecos :)

Gee Steve...that's kinda flimsy evidence on Corkum you got there;)!
But I tell ya what I can do; I know a guy that's gonna be out of work real soon. He's a real good communicator, so I could ask him if he could be sort of an intermediary between you and Corkum and try to get your $$$ back. See if you can get me a current phone # for Corkum (someone on the forums must have one) and I'll get my buddy right on it!

Spark, am I to assume from your last post that you have banned Les Robertson from the Forum? If so, might I ask for what specfic reason? And please don't tell me it is because "he lied about your character." You have allowed John Goncz in another thread to do the very same thing about other Forum members and nothing was done.

If you have banned Les, just add my name to that list as well.

Sorry, you're right.

Only came back to suggest this still be over there, but decided to look, and saw it still is in GBU, or the important parts. as usual, you've got it unde control, so I"ll go back to forusm I belong in. :)
