Still got a problem

I still can't get file folders to update and turn pink. I have gone into the Prefs section and reset my choices a couple of times, and it works for that one time I continue to use the forum, but then all files turn pink. Any more suggestions?

Tristan, please pardon me as I go through the following litany, especially if you have heard this before:

What Browser are you using, and which version?

Do you have "Accept all Cookies" turned on in your preferences?

Are you using the same browser and computer each time you log on?

I use Netscape Communicator 4.something

I do use the same computer and log on as the same user every time.

Not sure about the prefs thing. Are you referring to Communicator's prefs? If you are, I'm not sure how to go about changing it let alone getting to it.

Tristan, on Communicator, go to Edit -> Preferences. Under Advanced, check to see if "Accept All Cookies" is on. If it isn't, turn it on.

Once it's on, shut down and restart your browser, then come back to the forums. Reset your profile preferences, and then leave the site and go to another. When you come back, the folders should be working for you.
