Stop Pin Question

I posted this in my other thread about the durability of the Commander, but I think it might be getting overlooked. There is something I just noticed about my Commander; the blade stop pin is at a slight angle which precludes it from coming in full contact with the blade. instead, just one corner of the blade hits the stop pin. Is this normal?

Looking at mine, I'd say no. Probably got misaligned. You could try taking it apart and hopefully realigning the pin correctly. Or you can send it back to Emerson and let them do it (or send you a new knife!)
