Sub hilt fighter designs?

Not sure about their useability, but I've seen a few Sub-Hilt fighter designs that look very cool. Any experiences out there? Looks like blade retention in a fight would be great, but how about comfort and overall useability?

It depends how they're made. I've made 2, It took 4 years to sell them. A lot of people see them as "special purpose" knives, with really one use.
