Just in case there wasn't anything else that you needed to buy...especially with 22mag on the way

I would really love to see something like that for my 10/22

My nephew has one of these Crickets, but I haven't asked my brother who accurate it is.

Do you fellows think these rifles are a good base for a project like this?

I got my son a Chipmunk about 5 years ago. It seems like a good little rifle, and I don't see why the action wouldn't be suitable for the conversion.

It shoots good, but I've never tried to get real serious with it past 50 yards. Not sure how the accuracy will be with the conversion barrel though. The action was a little rough when we first got it, but it didn't take much work to smooth it out.

WOW, in .22 mag that gun would have about the same recoil energy as a light weight AR15, but with more than twice the recoil velocity. 'Snappy' would be probably be an understatement.

That's interesting but I think it's only a gimmick with the carbon fiber body, but after you add a carrying case, it will be about the same as the Henry AR-7 which is complete @ 2.5 lbs, That comes in it's own stock/case, has 2 magazines and floats.

Personally, I'd carry a Marlin Papoose if I wanted an ultra-light .22lr @ 3.25 lbs.
