Super Salyan for Pen!

And I'm pretty darn sure that's my little 12" Sirupati Audrey ( named after the bloodsucking plant in Little Shop of Horrors sitting right above Sally!

Wiping Choji Sutra oil off hands. That definitely was Audrey! ( She's less thirsty for my blood if I fondle and rub that sweet smellling oil into her and her scabbard every so often. )

Well I can see why some say the SS is ugly--What a monster handle! Well, it's not quite ugly, but the proportions seem off.

Sure that isn't a relativistic khuk, suffering lengthwise contraction and mass increase due to traveling near the speed of light?

what about this one?
seems less offensive to me...

Are any of these monsters available Uncle Bill?
Or anyone else have a HI Salyan you'd care to part with for that matter?

I cannot believe the weights I'm reading here!?!?! 3.5 lbs for Yvsa's SS, and Will's Mega Salyan tips the scales at 5.65 LB? Look, Im a big guy, but damn!

I'm not the Saylan type I guess. for 5.6lbs, I could be waving a 5-6 foot greatsword around. Mind, you, the greatsword won't cut a buick in half without some edge deformation...

Now that you mention it, that's how the blade curves, due to the attaction of expanding-contracting mass-energy-forces because of the density of the matter.

either that, or...dunno.

That's right, it's Will Kwan's MEGASalyan, and at 2.2 lbs. per kilo, I get 5.65 lbs. on my trusty slipstick.

So if the SuperSalyans ran 3&3/4 pounds with 3/4" thick spine average, what thickness you suppose a 22 or 23 inch long 5&2/3rds pound MEGA comes in at?

I wonder what the Salyan would look like at 12"...

:D  :D
