Half the blades back from waterjet cutting....doesn't look like much....but it made for some heavy boxes!!! :eek:

I need to do some prep work like drilling the handle holes, etc. and then these will be ready to go for blade grinding!!! :thumbup:

did you ever get some scales mounted on the dummy? I promise I'm being as patient as I'm able, in my idiom. :D

There will likely be an extra one or two...but they will not be available until they are done....keep an eye on the progress and you won't miss it.

It has been 3 days now Dan... Are you done the grinding yet? :p

I mean come on, how long did it take you to get through the first round of bushcraft blades? I seem to recall it being an afternoon or two... ;) :D

That's what I was thinking too . . . :D

Dan set the bar WAAAYYY too high with his bushcraft project. He worked like a madman to get through that bushcraft project. It seemed like he had the whole project done in the blink of an eye. :D:D:D:D

They're going to a blade grinding shop. ;)


I would seriously be out for a week just standing in front of my flat platen....a couple dozen 60 grit belts and a fridge full of NOS....:eek:

I'd have killer biceps by the end though....:o





Got the next set of boxes of survivor blanks today!!!!! :thumbup:
 
Dan... as cerberus mentioned... I'm SICK that I missed out on the promotional sign-up for these blades.

If you do get any extras please let me know. I just received the Nessmuk f/you today and it's Fantastic. I'd be happy to send you more of my hard-earned money for one of these monsters. If you're taking note I think natural micarta or green would work for me... ;) :D

Either way, these look great and I can't wait to see the finished product even if I missed out on them. :thumbup:
 
Anyone else going crazy with the anticipation???? This is by far Dan's best design IMHO. I see a lot of the FSH design here, with all of the Koster signatures. SWEET!!!!!!!
