Those are really cool, but, in my experience those "jet flame" lighters are terrible in wilderness situations.
Don't mean to sound cynical but over the years I've owned 2 Calibri "jet style" supposed outdoor lighters. Both priced at $100+. The first one clogged and would not be cleaned.
The second was a gift and it too became clogged and didn't die but the flame (even when full) dropped to half an inch. I used nothing but their own fuel so I don't believe it to be user error. Also the fuel doesn?t last that long, burns hotter, burns faster.
IMHO I believe it to be the only feature on the SAK that could be set up to fail.
Keep the knife but bring some flint.
