man, i cannot find what i am looking for - i want a belt loop with a swivel in between it and the portion you'd bolt to the sheath.

anybody got an idea who sells them? i've check knifekits, they don't. i'm gonna look at texas knife supply again, but i don't remember them having one either :grumpy:
 
Are you looking for something that spins freely or locks in place?

I have seen something similar to what your talking about on a CRKT knife (can't remember the model right now), it was attached with a snap button so it could be removed quickly.

If your looking for something to lock in place, then the only thing I can think of is a TecLok system. I know it not exactly what you want, but it's about the nearest thing to what you want that I can think of....unless I'm not totally understanding what your looking for.
 
imagine a Tek-Lock attached to your belt, it has a swivel in between it and the sheath, it spins freely.

yea, i'm getting the feeling that i'm gonna have to make one :(

Ok, that's pretty much what I had in mind, and I can't recall ever seeing one.... so it'll probably be a custom job.
