Ragnar seems to be a hard man to get in contact with during the summer time. Seems to go from one plaxce to another with the reenactment thing. Maybe he will be around more when the kids go back to school and winter gets here. He does have a couple of things that I could sure use.:) :)

Hope all is going well for you and the guys.

Pappy,
The good Ragnar of Elandris is currently in Pennsylvania merchanting his wares at the Pennsic War, a week long medieval event that attracts large numbers of folks. If you placed an order for goods from Ragweed Forge you'll get 'em about a week later than his usual very fast turnaround time. You're right, he gets busy in the summer.
Let me guess Pappy, ceramic sharpening rods and maybe one of those nifty little "credit card" diamond hones that fits in your billfold?

The ceramic rods for sure. Maybe one of the diamond hones for the kitchen knives. He has a couple or three Hawks that look good to me so I want to check them out too. One more payment to Uncle Bill first though. I can pay that in a few days.
You and your guys keep a head up. sSeems a bit strange the way things come in spurts over there.
I sure am glad for computers. Can you imagine all of the messages you have sent going by snail mail?
Take care and God Bless.:) :)

Aahh, yes. I've fought in that war three times. Pennisc XIX, XX, and XXI (19, 20, 21). Good stuff! No better simulation for ancient and medieval warfare on a grand scale. Thousands to a side. Not just a re-enactment, more of a war-simulation, like the paintball of hand-to-hand combat. Also a good place to pick up handmade goods, weapons or otherwise.

That's interesting! What gatherings are those? How often are they? Monthly, 6-monthly? Great that you can get good handmade weapons. I've heard from guys at Sword Forum International (SFI) that at most of the time I hear at medieval events, you need a shovel to get through all the Bull$hit that gets thrown around about weapons!
:( :grumpy: :(
