I whole-heartedly second the Normark recommendation. I have one of his sheathes for the Wave, and it is fantastic. You never know it is there until you need it! Price is right too!
Check him out, you will not be dissatisfied.

I have a couple other Normark products, but not this one yet. I've been putting it off in favor of other toys.

How secure is it? In the photo it looks like the Wave could get knocked out if you bumped into something the right (or wrong) way.

I'm also a little worried about scratching things (my car, furniture, etc) with the exposed metal of the Wave. Have you had any problems like that?

I recommend Normark's work 100%. I'm just a little concerned about the way this unit exposes the tool.

It's pretty secure, snaps in with authority. Yeah, it could get knocked out, but you will also be in the process of getting pretty banged up by whatever is knocking it out!
It holds pretty well.

Normark has made a number of things for me and ALL have been flawless! My WAVE bikini is no exception. Tight as can be and very secure. I don't know of anything that could knocj my WAVE out of the sheath without knocking ME out first.

Great work, Great Price and Great Idea...thanks again Eric!

Hey Guys...

Thanks for all the support....

I'd like to address these issues..

1. As far as knocking it out...

I guess it could be done,, but like David said,, it would take a serious hit to do that...

The Wave is held in by many points of rentention. For the most part, the initial release of the tool is with thepalm of your hand. To pop it out a finger is inserted and pushes the tool out the rest of the way...It is very secure

2. The matter of scratching things...

Yes it could scratch up furniture, that is something that was to be watched...All depends on how where you wear it..I tend to wear mine closer to the front of my body.

It's a good point and something I will definately look into...
Having one end partially closed off may help this problem..

The rig can be worn either in the horizontal or vertical position, without the fear of loosing the tool..

I've very anal about how my sheaths fit. I assure a good fit with my sheaths...

Xman..

Drop me a note and we can talk about a rig for you...

Again guys,, I appreciate all of the comments, and I'm happy this came up...

If anyone has any questions,, Please feel free to email me anytime...

Hi Diletante,

Nice picture you posted :D I first thought, that guy has the same setup as I have then I saw that you also had the same stone tiles on your floor and then I noticed that it was my own Kydex sheath for the Leatherman wave that Eric has send me.

Eric is THE MAN for these kind of rigs, fits like a good glove, never any hint of it working lose and still it's easy to pull out my wave.

Best Scouting wishes from Holland,

Bagheera
