I picked up a pretty nice little fixed blade hunter/utility knife last night. Nothing fancy, just some kind of stainless steel and brown canvas micarta. Nickel silver or stainless pins. What made me buy this knife, even though I had never heard of the maker, is how clean and precise the work is. I mean, this sucker is perfectly ground! Everything is even; the plunge cut/shoulder area is a mirror image on each side. On both sides of the blade, the grinds terminate at exactly the same place on the spine of the blade. If anyone knows what steel this maker uses, I would be most appreciative. Any info at all on the maker would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
