I just can't help it! Every Microtech I've had I have done this to, so I guess the Tach should be no exception;)

I took my Dremel tool, I just love that Dremel:D , and with a polishing wheel and some polishing compound I mirror polished the screw heads. I even polished the latch along with the spacers. It does give a very nice look to the Tach!

I wish I could fella's! Don"t have the capabilities YET;)

I forgot to mention that I have been using "Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish" on the blade. I did this last year to a Socom Elite with stonewash finish and after a couple of weeks of polishing two or three times a day it acheived a satin/mirror finish with what looked like tiny metal flakes when the light strikes it. That, coupled with the polished screws and spacers, really dresses it up!

Mothers mag is good crap.

However, you telling us this without posting pics has gotton you banned from these forums.

Dont ever post here again.

:D Pics pics pics!

Sounds neat Artsig 1.., what did you use for polishing compound? (i.e., grit-type)??

I goof around with that stuff too when I have time.., and it does add some "flash" to the looks for sure!

What did you use for a holding device to do the screws and latch?? I use a "Pana-Vise" with pads I made to accomodate the smaller parts.
