I have been wanting a small short sword in the 20-25inch overall range for some time now and finally have the funds to do it. I love custom knives and would prefer to have one built to my specs rather than finding a production model and settling.
Here is a brief overview of what I want:
Overall length: 20-25 inches
Golok style blade with mean chopping capabilities
Steel: 5160 I hear is pretty good, but Im open to options
Handle: Micarta scales or g10
Powdercoated black blade or that rough forged look, not sure what they call it.
Kydex sheath that can attach to molle gear.
I am mostly worried about function and durability more than anything else.
I know these are a little vague specs, but I was hoping to get with a maker that can tell me whats feesible and whats not as far as matierials and what not.
