David, if this is an inappropriate question then please say so, but I was wondering if you can provide any specifics as to how exactly the earthquake in Taiwan has/will impact the production facility for your knives? Will they soon be unavailable, and if so how long of a delay do you expect before full production capacity is reached again? Thanks, jeff

Dear Jeff:

The Taiwan earthquake has effected all of our Taiwan manufacturers in one way or another however things are getting back to normal for the most part since power was restored to the island a week ago.

The worst human tragedy I know of is the manufacturer who does the blanking for the Magna lost his wife.

As far as the Cosmos, I have just recieved news that this project will be postponed indefinately. The plant that produces the Cosmos has been completely leveled and all tooling was destroyed. To produce this knife it is like starting again from scratch so it will be a while before the Cosmos is completed.

Other than these tragedys, the earthquake has simply caused us production delays at our busiest time of year. We expect to be back on schedule in a few weeks.

Thank you for your interest and consideration.
