Talon II clip broke, are all the knives that used that clip discontinued?

I broke my clip on my Talon II yesterday as a brushed up against a wood chair back. The word from Kershaw is that the knife is discontinued and they won't replace parts on it. They will refund the cost of the knife if I send it in. I don't want to do that, especially since I thought that this was a clip that several other models used. Are any of them still in production? If so I don't see why they can't send me a clip.

I know the zing uses that clip. The g10 versions are technically discontinued but there are still a ton of them out there for sale.

The Turbulence has the same clip and is still being made for now......I am sure it is gone for 2013 though.

The OSO Sweet has the same clip too.....bet all the clips of that type are made in PRC.

That's strange...they wouldn't send you a clip for that? Hmmm. I'd call and ask again, since as was said, that clip is use by other models. The OSO Sweet, the Volt II, the Compound, the Turbulence, and Speedform II are all current catalog models that use it.
