Just a heads up- there are some very nice new balis up on taymo.com/en by Dobruski. (CB 31 and 32 I think)

The new damascus one looks very nice.:)
 
Never though white micarta would look so good. Ultra sweet. My teeth hurts, and I'm drooling like I've been shot full of novocaine. :D
 
Does anyone know when they increased the prices? I don't know the old prices of all the knives, but the steel handles with micarta used to be $230 and now it is $270. Guess the demand is more than Mr. Dobruski can keep up with. Darn! I wanted to get another one, but now I'm reconsidering after this 20% price increase.
 
With all due courtesy, at $270 they are a bargain, at $230 they were a steal. A lot of effort goes into that kind of fit and finish. You know you want it.:)

No, I <i>never</i> doubted the worth. But on my student stipend, I probably make less in one month than a non-student makes in a week, and I still have all the normal expenses. ...the way I see it, $40 is two trips to the bar... ;):D

Gee, two less trips to the bar or another Dobruski.... Hey, you don't want us to start questioning your loyalty now, do you Andrew? ;) Certainly picked the wrong crowd to look for sympathy here.... :D

Dobruski is producing *the* best custom balis at this time IMHO. The next one is going to be even nicer... :) :)
