Temp. EDC sheath for skeleton GW

I thought the skeleton GW would finally be the Busse blade that I could use as an edc. Because of sheeple, I prefer to carry in my waist band. Usually I have a folder with a 3" or larger blade there. So I modified the original Busse cardboard "express mail" sheath with some duct tape, a bit of aluminum from a beer can where the blade sits and a SS clip. I've been wearing it for a few days now and it feels fine. It sits IWB at the hip crease and is hardly noticable.

I went for a hike today and took a few pictures. Now that I know it will work where I want to carry it, I can look for a proper kydex or carbon fibre sheath.

Sadly, I knew what your sheath would look like before I opened the thread. I've made many a duct tape sheath in my time. :D

The belt clip is a nice twist, however. :thumbup:
 
You had better check on that sheath..........

I think Skunk has the patent on that highly technical design! :D



But I am a believer that if it works it is good - so go for it!! :thumbup:
 
Now we are REALLY talking about custom sheaths!!
