I started playing with an older Ouparator that came back to me a few days ago. Finally got caught up enough to play some today in the shop and I liked that green G10 so much that I used on the Military I converted to a frame lock I decided to try some on one of my own folders. This one now sports an ATS34 blade also and its at 60 Rockwell to go along with some green textured G10 with a nice ti frame lock side, and of course one of my low rider clips. This one is sporting a 3" blade, 4.5" handle and weighs in at 3.0 ounces. I am still sticking with the 'longer handle/shorter blade concept that I really find appealing in other folders like the Para Military by Spyderco and the CQC14 by Emerson.

Lock sticks a bit currently which happens now and then but its getting used because this one is for me, at least for now! ;) We'll see how long that lasts though.

Thanks. The scans from my flat bed scanner do not do it any favors but I was too lazy to get the digital out and charge the batteries up just to take a couple shots, then it clouded up on me so no go today really.

Yea, that one's great. I've got to get back with you about the Ouparator we discussed by email a week or so back.

This one would be a good 'outdoors' knife.

Had to use it some to break in the lock enough to not stick since I opted to go that route rather than adjust it mechanically but its working in nicely now and my thumb is recovering. :D
