I have returned from the European IWA Show in Nurnberg, Germany. Have been gone almost 3 weeks and still jet lagging. Actually missed you.

Sorry I couldn't post. Tried many times in many countries with little success. European hotels are not as internet friendly as I had hoped. I'm sure it will take a few days to do though all of the 600+ posts on the Spyderco forum, so you may see some dated answers.

I would like to throw some "Thank you's" your way. Thank you for the response to my question about "Too many SKU's". The information on the posts and E mails that I received was most impresssive. Excellent information and it is being used to create our strategic plan for the balance of '99 and Y2K.

Thank you to Dexter, Thank you to Spyderco crew; Danelle, Rafael, Vince and Michelle for helping to fill in the forum.

Thank you for all of the personal E-Mails that I received. I have and am enjoying them. I must apologize for not responding.
(Sorry Bill, just rcvd your 8 MAR E-Mail today). Although I have excellent crew, I am one of those presidents that is very much hands on", especially with product and quality. And though I have been doing this for more than 20 years, I am still putting in half days (12 hours). The Forum does take a fair amount of time (albeit enjoyable) and it seems that it is very difficult for me to personally respond to all E-Mails. Please don't take it personal. I have the "need to answer pile" which is right behind the "fire to put out" pile. I will try harder to respond. Good to be back.

Thank you for being around.

Your presence has turned my loyalty to Spyderco into an enjoyable obsession. Witness the Worker 2000 thread.

I spend more time here than anywhere else.

One may want to keep an Eye out for my review of the Bob Kasper designed, Kevin Gentile modified AFCK and interview of Bob Kasper. Sorry about the wait, my review and interview should be online shortly, look for it right here at BladeForums.com. The delay has been getting pictures, luckily Spark has graciously offered to do the pictures. Knife writer I may be, photographer I am not, yet.

Wecome back, Sal. It still blows my mind that you contribute as much time as you do to this place. Thanks again.

Glad to have you back, Sal. Hope IWA was a good show for you. Always happy to help cover for you when you're stompin' around this mortal coil. By the way, you should have seen all the free stuff Danelle was giving out.

David,
I second that emotion.

Sal,
Glad you're back. Hope you had an enjoyable a profitable trip!

Welcome back! It's great that the CEO of a top-notch knife company actually takes the time to listen and respond to his customers in a cool forum such as this!

Sal,
Nice to have you back in the country! Danelle should get a raise. I e-mailed her with a customer service question, and she had me rolling with laughter on the office floor. Service like that is a rare and wonderful thing to come by.

Welcome back, we missed you.

I believe your "hands on" approach has an awful lot to do with your company's success. Thank you for spending the time here on the forum. I really appreciate it.

Welcome back, Sal, from all of us.

I agree with Cronnacht, Dannelle deserves a raise!

Sal,

I too agree with the rest of the Forumites! I hope the trip went well. Danelle and Keith are the best! You need to send them out to join the USA Customer Service OlympicTeam.

Welcome back. Looking forward to your insight on what Spyderco is up to these days.

Bring it on Danelle....I'll have the Police and the Military waitin' for your arrival. By then, you're hopeless, no chance of Rescue. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Welcome back Sal. Danelle certainly deserves a raise after all that free Spyderco stuff she gave away to all the forumites while you were gone.
