I think this will be OK here. I believe most would consider the knife and especially the maker traditional. Ed has made this model a classic design.

Ed Fowler - 6 3/4 inches overall. I have lusted after one by Ed for a long time but the price always made me back off. I stumbled upon this one which is just the size I like. I figured if not now, when? So I just held my breath and pulled the trigger on this one. I was familiar with a similar model by Bill Burke so I kind of knew what to expect. What a knife! I imagine you all know the specs. Forged 52100, sheep horn, and brass.

Ed Fowler's knives have a look all their own. Congrats on the purchase, it must be satisfying to finally cross off a long-wanted-for knife on the wish list.

Very nice. Your photos captured the beautiful translucence of the horn. Congrats.

Do yu think he could maybe do about 100 of those for around $99.99 and have them done by Dec. 2010? It would be a great forum knife, ya. Congrads.

You lucky Dawg !! That's a knife that will last forever under severe hardship and you can take it just about anywhere with it being that size.
Darn you Thomason, now you got me wound up !

Congrats, Rob. It's a wonderful piece!

Wow, A knife with a face. No doubt about the maker, and one of the best I've seen by this maker.

Nice design, and a handy size! Perfect really!
Did he make the sheath also?? I like 'em simple, and I like the "bagstitch"!
