A short while ago I discovered that the Buckcote models came in gray as well as the gold version. I immediatly expressed a "need" for at least one of them. Well, with the help of Eric and Jim (Arksknives and postfallsidaho), my "need" has been taken care of.

Eric was kind enough to offer one (the NS 110) of those he had and Jim offered the sheath to match. When I got the sheath from Jim, I was amazed to see that he had also sent me the Buckcote Protege with it's sheath!

I appreciate it Eric. I like the fact that although they weren't in the catalog until '97, the one you sent me has a '96 date stamp.
