Sal, just wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for the "Spydie Hole".
Some things we take for granted. Like using your right arm. Unfortunately, sometimes life has a little mishap!
I hurt my arm at work a week or so ago, damaging the ulnar nerve, which resulted in three fingers, half of my hand, and part of my forearm numb. Not so bad except that it is still numb! (the doc is giving it a few more days before taking any more "drastic measures")
Anyway... thanks to "The Hole"... Getting my Spyderco out and working with the left hand isn't any problem. (*laughing maliciously*) ... "Beware cardboard boxes, I'm back!!"
Seriously, the hole works great with left or right hand. Much better than those (easy to slip off of) thumb studs. I just wish the Jess Horn Micarta had an ambi-clip. I know that the ease of opening a Spyderco is old news to all the Spydie nuts in this forum, but you'll never realize what a great invention it is until you have no alternative! (even if it's temporary)
As someone once said. "A knife-less man, is a life-less man"
Thanks again Sal.
