Got this back today, Buck 560 that STR put a southpaw pocket clip on for me.

Great work! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Unless it says otherwise its 420HC to the best of my knowledge.

That knife doesn't leave much room for a mounting really and making sure the clip hits the right spot so its not falling into one of the holes is a must. Fortunately I pulled it off and managed to find a couple spots to allow a mounting and also give the clip some good retention. It grabbed the pocket good. If you decide on the thumb stud later let me know. I think that knife would work. I've certainly put studs on that model with blades harder to open than yours was.

Actually guys, this one is a 1990, so it's 425M. Buck went to 420HC in 1994.

Many folks have sent these in for a BG-42 blade replacement to create a "Buckbenza", but Buck will no longer do blade replacements on these Titanium folders. :(

STR, I carried it today, and the clip is a VAST improvement over just loose in my pocket. This thing had a habit of migrating to the bottom and getting under your leg when you sit down, and trust me...Titanium will NOT give, your leg will!!! :D

Having it up at the top of the pocket is much better.
