Here's a pair that's not seen very often. It took a long while to get them together.

Can you explain to us all the "H52" mark on the front scale.
Its an H sebenza numbered 52. I dont know the exact history but that might be the 52nd sebenza producted since they were introduced. Basically the ORIGINAL sebenza made by Chris Reeve himself.

Date back to late 80's early 90's.

Please help me. I'm concussed:confused::confused:

Are we not suppose to leave comments on this thread?

The H is for Handmade, it's the 52nd Sebenza ever made. The predecessors to that were simply called South African Folders, and are crude in comparison. This is the history of the Sebenza here. Made in October of 1991.

Of course..it's a bit of light ribbing for TS-
If you look through the history of the thread, it's a myriad of comments.
Don't let my title fool you too much. I'm pretty innocuous..as you should know

here anyway. :p

You should see him in the other place :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

South African Predecessors are still considered Sebenzas. Sebenza 21 was released in 2008.
2008-21=1987.. a few years before the H line was started.

I think crude is a good word to describe it though. Still a cool knife though.. but definitely you can see the many improvements Chris brought to the Handmade line. I wish we could be a fly on the wall when you open this package. It is going to be awesome.

Really looking forward to future photos of H52. Awesome awesome grail piece indeed. You never disappoint in these inbound posts Lone_Wolfe Lone_Wolfe :) The H is a personal grail. Just gotta find a right-handed version. :)
