I finally held this fine blade yesterday. The handle is rough, yet it still feels remarkably warm and friendly!

The Wegner Sheath is great and shows a lot of great design and thought.

The blade though, is fantastic. I was a fan of the Cutlery Shoppe/Terzoula Gryphon Series, are you going to make a smaller version of this equal to the brutally quick-in reverse grip Gryphon M10?

If so, count me in on both of them. The CQB-1 and the smaller version.

I will have to get James Piorek to whip me up a sheath for this so I can hang it on a JSP Associate Shoulder Harness perfectly.

What a knife!

Hi Don,

I'm going to steal Will's thunder

by saying there is a smaller CQB2 in the works that has a 4" blade. Same features, materials, and carry rig as the CQB1 has. IIRC Will said this will debut at the Blade Show later this year.

Dexter,

Sounds great to me, I was hoping that there would be two sizes of this knife.

I really have to say that Production Fixed Blades have not been impressing me as of late. The BM Nimravus was an exception...even the Boker produced Nealys have not struck my fancy...possibly because I own several Nealy Customs.

These blades, however, are very nice.

Don,
Thanks for the endorsement! I am particularly proud of the CQB-1.....I consider it to be the best made CAMILLUS product to date. We have more goodies on the horizon.

Yes, Dexter is correct, we will introduce CQB-2 hopefully by BLADESHOW. It will have a 3.99999"

blade. The sheath system will be scaled down appropriately. We enjoy working with Bob T. and look forward to more projects in the future.

Thanks for your interest!

Oh joy! What a surprising way to start off the New Years! 3.9999" Terz. Perhaps the search for the original Gryphon (with plastic handles- yech!) will be no more! Thanks Will/ Camillus for such fine products. And Don, as far as rough handles, well someones finally got the right idea!

L8r,
Nakano
