I was walking down the hall and saw this. He wasn't stuck, apparently this was a great hiding spot in his mind. :D

I took the vacuum outside, after a while he took off. Too funny!

ha ha, that little guy was totally invisible ; ) Pretty cute. I hope he hides better in nature, or he will be dinner for someone higher up in the food chain fairly soon.

Yeah he was! ...totally hidden.

We have a lot of wildlife, my cat likes to bring in squirrels and chipmunks. Yesterday I saw a deer in my yard and a few turkeys, the turkeys are always cruising by the shop. My cat tried to get one once, it was funny. He never touched the turkey... I think the bird would have won for sure!

Too funny! What if you hadn't noticed him and switched the vac on? Probably an experience neither one of you would ever forget!

Sam flushed this guy (girl?) out of the brush by the side of our hiking trail the other day. The owl is giving Sam the evil eye for interrupting him and Sam is growling at him. Scared the pee out of me when the owl popped out of the brush just a few feet away. LOL

Just the thought of the cat and turkey makes me think of the scene in the (older) childrens movie of Homeward Bound, where one dog takes on "Birdzilla," a turkey on a farm! That's got to be hilarious to watch!

Lol I know, if he wasn't so fat he would have made it in the vacuum!

This time of year the chipmunks get ramped up and even aggressive! They compete with the Stellar Jays for acorns in the scrub oak, they have battles to see who gets the food. Both shake the trees, I used to think it was deer making the noise. Yesterday the squirrels were gnawing green pine cones out of the tree in front of my house and bombing a Jay on the ground from about 40 feet up! They were bombing me on the way to my car last year daily, a green pinecone will leave a mark!

The owl photo is just incredible to see! I don't think I have ever seen an owl in the wild. I hear them all around but they are elusive, very cool photo! I bet he was big.

I actually have some of it on video format somewhere, the stare down lasted about half an hour!

I have a very steep dirt cliff right behind my house with a wooden ladder on it, the cat uses the ladder to climb it. He was on the top rung for most of it, every time he advanced the turkey tried to attack! I am positive he would have been chased down by the turkey it was so mad but did not know what to think about the ladder! There were about 15 turkeys, the biggest one was after him and was fully purple on the neck, he was so mad I didn't even scare them off! Turkeys usually spook easily.

I just spotted a possum with the quark mini 123 in this concrete forest NYC ;) he was actually quite a handsome little possum.

Nice! Possums are funny, I once saw a group of them hanging from a mesquite tree by their tails. Cool you saw on in NYC!

I have looked into that particular flashlight, they sound sweet! I like to go out at night and flash a light into the woods, you never know what you will spot. I thought I saw a bear the other night coming back from the shop, lol it was my cat on a pile of rocks !
