I found this at Spyderco's own forum.
I've been waiting for it a long time, so i thought a few of you other guys wanted to see it too.

Thank you very much! I've wanted to see pics of that beast for a while now.

The next step, of course, is to own one :D

"You call that a knife? This is a knife!" (*click click* go the blades of the double-civvy)

BTW, looks like I have a new background :D

Ye GADS! I'm in LUST!!!!!!!!!!

Is there even a remote chance this beasty will become a reality?

I really like it, but I think the clip should be mounted on the other end.
:D

Ah, I see.
Actually, I was guessing that it was a purely computer generated image. Nice to know there's a real working specimen out there somewhere.

Now this next is addressed to Sal...

Just how much booty smoochin' will be required to get this sweet thang into production?
(Anybody seen my chapstick?)
;)

Was it BORN that way, or did Darth Maul have it built?

I guess it could cut TWO BAGELS AT ONCE!

Karl

i feel that a dubble bladed civillian is a knife that must be brought to the world, its just one of those things that we cannot do without

Man I remember this knife from about 8 years ago I coated it for Phil Gibbs at Camillus. It's coated with a Brown and Gold Titanium Carbonitride. I think Phil still makes a few every now wnd then.
It's nice to see a knife from the past.

Darrell Lewis

Hi Darrell. Welcome to the Spyderco forum.. Yup, that's your handiwork on Phil Gibb's "toy".

Sorry, no production on that one. We'd be happy to supply Phil with blades if he's inclined.

So if I was willing to pay a few hundred or more then maybe.... Of course that would mean selling all other knives. Decisions, Decisions;)

Lousy knife look! I think that double bladed Spyderco is stupid. Spyderco is about functionality not hybrid fantasy knives!

Sorry but the knife stinks! That's my Song. -Bali

I'm torn between agreeing with Bali...but wanting to buy one if it comes out with nonslip G-10 handles!

Fantastically absurd--yet extremely compelling. :)

It would make a heck of a dexterity practice piece. Inertia open the bottom blade as you thumb out the top one! Scare twice as many sheeple in one theatrical move! :D

Splittedly opinionated,

Karl

P.S. Is it's mere existance it's own validation? I believe so. Remember the "Twin Mustang?" Or the double-fronted "drive from either end" Fiat 128?

P.S.S. You can have your full serrations and an entire plain edge too! No more debating that question...

Yea but then everyone would be arguing which blade should be in the 'reverse' grip and which one pointing forward :D :p :D
