the DPP solution?

Hey Spark,
I've noticed that I've been able to keep from getting those "damn double posts" through the following steps:
If, after waiting more than the usual seconds to get to the posted page, you don't actually get there, click on the Back button on your browser until to get to the page prior to writing up and submitting your reply. If your reply shows up there, you won't have to resubmit it. It seems that the DPP's occur when the submit button is clicked more than once when the system takes a bit longer to load the updated page with your reply. What do you think?

Right in one, that's the only way that they happen - people clicking on the submit button repeatedly or by accident.

Now if only they would delete their own posts when they make this mistake... Just click on the edit button, enter in your username and password, and check the "Delete this message?" check box....

Ah, I didn't even know that the delete post feature was there. Good to know. BTW, when will the new software be installed? I miss the search feature.
