Dave, I have passed the point where your work (with your wife) would surprise me.
I don't think that you have an equal in leather, and your fixed blades have tons of competition
but are right up there with the best in that class...

Thank you Don! So a funny story you'll like and this pic brings it together:

Every year we delude ourselves into thinking that we can go to the NFR (National Finals Rodeo) in Vegas the first two weeks of Dec. We never make it because thats our busiest time of the year and we're getting stuff done. Its only four hours away so even just an overnight trip, but hasn't happened in like 15 years. Now I'm not really a rodeo fan so that part of the deal doesn't appeal to me and I like to watch it from some sports bar in some casino, what does interest every cowboy type is the shopping. There are probably 10-15 trade shows scattered around Vegas, all western. And these shows are HUGE. Like all day, to just walk around one. We often get asked are we gonna be there as vendors and the thought makes us wanna curl up in the fetal position and hide behind the couch. If we go to some big roping deal and see maybe a 1,000 people over a three day weekend and I sell 35-50 knives, a 150 of Nichole's wildrags and dang near everything else on the shelves, what kind of product we gotta have to do a ten day show with 10,000 different people, everyday, with $$$ to spend cause thats why they are there. Scary. So that time of the year we're getting stuff done. However, our friends Cara and her husband Tyler go. Cara has these woolies of course. So she likes pink as might be evidenced in this thread. See the pink and turquoise rope tied around the horse's neck and then coiled at the fork of Cara's saddle? Thats called a "get down" rope and is used to lead the horse once you get down. The reins in our style of horsemanship are never used to lead a horse. A good get down is twisted from mane hair and are about 16 ft long. There's an outfit called the Colorful Cowgirl. She has made quite a business of making get downs and mecates (a type of rein used with a hackamore or sometimes a snaffle bit) out of dyed mane hair. So they are walking through one of the shows and here is the Colorful Cowgirl's booth. Cara immediately zooms in on that get down rope. She's talking to the gal that made it and the gal tells Cara. I saw a pair of woolies on Instagram the other day that this get down would go so good with. Cara gets out her phone goes to our Instagram page and shows her a pic. "These ones?" The gal says: "Yeah those are so cool!" and Cara says: "Yeah, they're mine." The gal wanted a pic of the get down rope and the woolies together so Cara sent her this one.
