I have the pleasure of working with a new KnifeMaker here in The States under the name of 'KFU' "Knives For Use" ..
This knife and sheath is a part of a large gift package sent to a friend in Hungary by members of my "Base Forum" EDCF ,^)

Griff, you know I am totally honored to hold #001 of what is destined to unfold into a great and fruitful collaboration

I first lost the cable to my camera, then got swarmed over by work, so still no detail photos of my new goodies but I hope to fix that soon
 
This is GREAT...i have been smiling 21 min. I just wish I had known we were sending a gift box...I must have missed it. I love this forum
 
Alan, it was Gnarly who got the ball rolling on the care package. I'm not sure if it started here or on EDC forums.
It was kept under the radar as a surprise.
 
no doubt... i can see why it would be kept that way, and I remember thinking "what care package" when Chris showed us his completed knife. Which by the way was the knife that prompted me to ask him to make me one just like it.

I am glad everything made it there. and next time we decide to do this some one send me a PM...I'm gonna blame Gnarly:grumpy::p:D

We've been friends awhile,now,but your work always blows me away.

And kudos to KFU, who had the smarts to get you involved with this project! and made the gorgeous knife for sveqs.

And to the rest of our brethren & cistern here: if we get a wild hair and decide to do another care package.we'll post it here.

Folks, kudos to "the ones" who pulled this off . . . great heartfelt gesture and really shows what this forum is about and who resides here . . . . .
Sveqs, enjoy buddy, I was really digging that dark handle and that even darker sheath when I saw it . . . .
